We have tried to offer a simple Mail Order Service that is very cost effective and is based around the amount you are ordering. For full information see "Plant Delivery" And "Jewellery Delivery" as appropriate. These are your options if in doubt please Email us!


PLANTS & ARTWORK....
1) £10. Covers up to a packaged weight of 250kg and a box up to 120x50x50cm.
You can use this service for Plants, Art or Jewellery* (however Jewellery included will not be insured). If your order is particularly big and needs to be sent in more than one box there will be an additional £8 charge per box, we will contact you if this should be the case. This price is given for mainland UK there will be a small additional charge for highlands areas etc as standard.

The items WILL REQUIRE A SIGNATURE so give the most appropriate address where someone can sign.
WE CAN ONLY DELIVER ITEMS PAID FOR VIA CARD TO THE CARDHOLDERS BILLING ADDRESS. If you need parcels to be sent to work or another address you can pay via Cheque, Bank Transfer, Postal Order, Cash at your own risk,etc we can then send to wherever you prefer.


JEWELLERY ONLY ...
1) FREE- Add any amount of jewellery onto your main order (£10 Delivery) for no extra charge, all items will be sent together.Jewellery however will not be insured for loss/damage etc.
2) Insured Delivery PLEASE EMAIL WITH YOUR ORDER ( this option doesn't appear at checkout)- Choose from either "insured up to £50" or "Insured up to £1000" as appropriate. Jewellery will be sent Special Delivery and is based on order weight. Prices start at £5.50 for 500g

Plant Delivery

We use courier to get your plants safely and quickly delivered to you. The price is £10**. Please see above for conditions.


We offer a 1- 2 day Delivery Service, in most instances the order will be delivered next day after dispatch. So order away, £10 covers tonnes of plants and is excellent value!

This Delivery Charge includes insurance for loss or damage for up to £100. Should you require further insurance if your order totals above £100 this is available at additional cost (around £2 per parcel with the £10 delivery service) should you require it. Please Email us prior to ordering if required.

Should there be any issues with your order we will contact you to discuss.

* This excludes weekends/Bank Holidays etc. Plants will only be dispatched Mondays, Tuesday and wednesday (just incase there is a problem getting your plants e.g. you are not in etc) Please ensure you get your order in early in order for it to be processed quickly. We aim to have all orders sent out ASAP generally well within 5 days of receiving them (Should you be in a rush please email us and we can see if we can help). Orders are generally shipped within a day or two if received weekend or early in the week.
**This includes Admin/ Postage and Packaging and Handling.

 

Jewellery Delivery

We offer 2 options for Jewellery Delivery...

1) FREE DELIVERY...
If you are already placing a plant/Art order all Jewellery and Art on the website can be added you your cart for no extra postage charge. So you can treat the garden and yourself!
The Jewellery makes a great little treat for someone special and starts from around £2. We do a vast range of handmade Sterling Silver, Gold Plated and Contemporary Resin Jewellery so please take a look, we sell out fast so if you like it buy it!

Please note...
Although we are happy to include the Jewellery in your delivery, our courier will not compenstate for any loss or damage of jewellery although it can still be added to your packages if you wish to take the small risk that there may be an issue. So should there be any damage or loss or your parcels you will be insured for plants etc but no claim can be made for the jewellery.

If you want to have your Jewellery shipped seperately (insured) or you are ordering Jewellery only we do a different method of delivery to get the gems to you safely and more economically than our standard delivery charge.

2) Royal mail SPECIAL DELIVERY....(Within UK) From £5.50 for 500g!
This is for if you either want insurance for your jewellery in transit or if you are only placing a jewellery order.

Due to people selecting the lower jewellery postage delivery charge for plants we have had to remove the option at the checkout. If you wish to have your jewellery sent via special delivery so that it is insured please email us with your order and we can either provide payment details or send a "payment request" so that you may pay by card.

You have the option of either Jewellery "insured up to £50" or "£1000" as appropriate for the value of your order. Prices are based on Order weight, prices start at only £5.50 for a 500 grams order this covers masses of jewellery!

We will use Royal mail special Delivery. A signature will be required so please provide the most appropriate shipping address at the checkout. Our standard Terms and conditions apply.
We aim to dispatch all Jewellery orders within 7 working days. Should you be in a rush for your item please contact us and we will see what we can do to help.
This service does have size and weight restrictions in the event of any issues we will email you but generally this service is fine for all orders.
Missed deliveries are the responsibility of the customer. Royal Mail should leave a card with instructions of how to arrange redilivery, it is your responsibility as with all our delivery services to arrange this.
If you are out of the UK and wish to order please contact us and we will provide costs and information, a signed for service will be required.

International Orders

CONTACT US PRIOR TO ORDERING TO DISCUSS YOUR ORDER.

We are happy to accept intenational orders within the EU only. Please note we are primarlily aimed at delivery within the UK and provide International Orders as an additional service as we aware that you may want to place an order and not be in the UK!

We are happy so send seed orders, minimum order £15. Contact us for postage.
Due to the hassle involved with International orders we now will only send small orders (eg agaves) not large mixed orders as the wight is so variable that our quoted postage charge is generally higher when the plants are all watered and packed and we have lost money in the past. So now we will not send larger mixed plant orders although we will happily send agaves etc as the soil can be knocked off. If you do want a large order of mixed plants we can offer so send by courier but costs will be higher, contact us for quote. Our minimum postage charge is £10.

Please note...We do not unfortunately at this time provide Phyto Certificates or other legal requirements/forms. A Phytosanitary Certification is essentially a document that allows a healthy plant to be exported to another country. These are required in some countries to prevent the spread or introduction of plant diseases, pests or invasive species.
As we are not speciafically aimed at international exports we just provide the service to help our international clients we at this time cannot provide Phyto certificates. The process is complex, very time consuming and the certificates can be very expensive.
Should you be an international customer however we will happily accept your order. Please check out your own countries guidelines on plant imports as you may find that no documentation is necessary anyway.

International orders will be sent by our choice of international carrier. We accept no liablilty for plants ceased, destroyed or otherwise by Customs. Nor do we accept and liability or responsibility for and charges, taxes or import duties that may be charged as a result of your order, any additional fees or charges are the responsibility in full of the customer.

 

Plant Sizes & Information

Plants are mainly seed raised, they are likely to be grown form seed sown in the spring of that year so sizes will vary based on individual plant vigour, when they germinated and so on.

Where a plant size isn't indicated it's likely that the plant is being grown in a 9cm (diameter) pot- that's the standard sized pot that you might buy geraniums in for instance.
If the plant is in a different sized pot we will try and indicate this, but if in doubt please email us and we can let you know. Divisions may be pre- potted or a recent division therefore a set size isn't applicable, but you will get a decent sized healthy division.

As the season progresses plants will grow rapidly therefore earlying early may mean a little smaller plants, but I would strongly reccomend ordering as soon as possible as we are liable to sell out very fast and may only have limited stocks. Further into the season due to the increasing sizes and the fact we want to sell plants before they get difficult to send we may lower prices, you aren't getting poor quality plants for this we just offer them cheaper as they are better in your gardens than our nursery!

Essentially if in doubt please ask!

Plants will be sent out bareroot (removed from pot and sent potless). Please pot up as soon as you can, if the plants appear dry on arrival give them a good soak at first. Open your packages as soon as possible to let the plant breath and get light, don't leave for days in the box or they will die, and remember the quicker you get them planted into their final positions the quicker they will really take off
We aim to grow as many of our plants ourselves as possible and at present that is about 98%. Plants are raised from seed, cuttings or division mainly and are sold as with what we believe to be the correct name. Of course mother nature can butt in from time to time so it's always possible that plants raised from seed that should be black for instance may pop up a different colour. We either buy in seed from careful sources or collect our own from the gardens so try our best to make sure that plant are what they are said to be but unfortunately as we can't stop mother nature we cannot guarantee this, so you understand this when purchasing items from us, we cannot be held responsible for misslabelled plants, plants tha come up a different colour etc but do our best to ensure this doesn't happen where possible.

Seeds for sale are generally from our own garden collections, lave been labelled as accurately as possible and will be stored for maximum freshness and viability.

Plants are sent courier service.
Your delivery will require a signature, please use the most appropriate delivery address when placing your order, maybe work or with a neighbour to avoid your items being returned to the depot- and your plants being kept boxed up for longer than necessary.

If there is an issue with your order we will contact you preferably via email, ensure you provide the correct email address.
Your order anknowledgement/receipt will be emailed to you, you will not receive a seperate copy so please ensure you keep this.

For deliveries to some outlying areas, the delivery specification may be different. We will contact you if this is the case to advise. In placing your order if you are aware that this may be the case you accept that delivery may not be made within the set Next Day delivery schedule.

Orders are final so please check carefully before you place them, ensuring all your contact details are correct, your order is correct and that you understand our terms and conditions. We are a small and very busy nursery, we list all information to the best of our abilities.

Images may be not be of the specific plant listed, the image may show a larger specimen to give you a good idea of what your plants will grow into or may be a plant from our stock not the exact plant pictured.

 

Seed Ordering

We are now offering primarily our own fresh seed. To order simply email us a list of your requirements e.g. what variety and how many packets of each. We have a minimum order of £10 worth of seeds unless you are ordering other items eg plants/art/jewellery in which case you may add as many as you like. You will be charged no extra postage fee they will simply be included in your parcel.

If you wish to order only seeds please let us know your chosen payment method we have 2 options as below...

We will then email you with the total amount and payment details, if you are paying by card we will email a Nochex payment request which will safely take your payment and if paying by other means we will give your our details of where to send payment. (we accept cheque, bank transfer, postal order, cash at own risk, bankers draft etc).

Seeds will be dispatched within 14 days and usually much less.
