A new and beautiful biennial "Honesty" this lovely plant bears deep purple blue flowers, gets to around 3ft and is very hardy. After the pretty flowers tissue paper like seed disks clothe the plants, these are great for flower arrangements and drying. These start off green tinged with maroon, these then turn purple-bronze and according to the light give off colours of purples, pink, cherry red, oranges and bronze. I'll certainly be trialling these myself!
Easily grown should flower 2009. Limited stocks of this scarce, new plant. We also sell "alba variegata" (white flowers and cream splashed leaves)
